Anker at IFA 2026: In-House S2 Max Mower and Omni E35 Robot
Verified on the evening of 3 September 2026. Anker is using IFA for a major strategic shift: five existing brands are being consolidated under Anker while the company expands its robotics portfolio. For RoboMorrow, the two key products are the Robot Lawn Mower S2 Max, Anker's first mower developed entirely in-house, and the Robot Vacuum Omni E35 with HydroJet 2.0.
S2 Max: Anker's first in-house mower
Anker explicitly calls S2 Max its first robotic mower developed entirely internally. That matters commercially because it signals a proprietary product platform rather than simply participating in the category through partner technology. S2 Max is designed to operate without boundary wires and without RTK, using onboard perception and mapping.
The company also introduces an automatically extendable edge-cutting arm. Edge trimming is one of the dominant IFA 2026 mower themes: MAMMOTION, Navimow and Anker are all trying to remove the last manual job after autonomous mowing. The existence of an arm does not prove perfect “zero edge” performance; uneven borders, bark, stones and soft soil will need real testing.
AWD, 80% and 15,000 m² — manufacturer claims for now
Anker quotes all-wheel drive, slopes up to 80% / 38° and mapping/mowing up to 15,000 m². Those are ambitious consumer-mower figures. We do not treat them as directly comparable results against LUBA 4 AWD or Navimow H5 Pro because vendors may use different methods for maximum slope and area capacity.
European launch is scheduled for May 2027. Anker's primary release does not state a price. Independent coverage reports around €3,999, but until that figure appears in an official European Anker store or price list, RoboMorrow labels it not confirmed by the primary source.
Omni E35: HydroJet 2.0 and 35,000 Pa
The second robotics pillar is Omni E35. Anker quotes 35,000 Pa of suction and a HydroJet 2.0 Self Cleaning Roller Mop. The roller is designed to be cleaned continuously while the robot runs, reducing dirty-water smearing. This reflects the broader market shift also visible at Narwal and elsewhere: actively refreshed roller mops are becoming a major flagship battleground.
Product material refers to a roughly 290 mm roller, 16 N downward pressure and mechanics that extend side reach. Those are manufacturer specifications. Without independent testing, we do not conclude that E35 cleans better than a lower-Pa robot or a competing mop architecture.
Certification is not a universal hygiene result
Anker references TÜV certification described as “Maternal and Infant Cleaning Robot,” covering areas such as bacterial elimination, noise, cleaning and self-cleaning. Editorially, that should not be simplified to “safe for babies” or “disinfects the home.” Certification has a defined scope and test method; it does not validate every surface or household scenario.
One Anker brand changes the robotics context
At the same time, the company is gradually moving eufy, soundcore, SOLIX and other brands under Anker. Robotics becomes part of Anker for Home. That may simplify ecosystem and support over time, but during the transition stores will contain both legacy eufy names and new Anker eufy naming, so exact SKU verification remains important.
Anker also announced MindBase, a local home AI hub with onboard compute and local memory. It is not itself a robot, but it indicates the direction: robots, cameras and home devices are meant to participate in one local decision system.

We do not publish the reported €3,999 as an official S2 Max price or convert it into PLN. An official EU preorder/store listing would be a material update.
Why one story is better than two
S2 Max and Omni E35 belong to the same product event and the same Anker for Home strategy. Splitting them into two same-day stories would increase volume without adding equivalent editorial value. One strong article better explains how Anker is building an in-house garden platform while reinforcing its robot-vacuum business.
RoboMorrow view: publish one IFA story. S2 Max carries the bigger strategic signal; E35 shows the breadth of Anker's home robotics ambition. Future standalone updates should wait for official S2 Max pricing, sales start, a Polish channel or meaningful independent testing.
What will actually test S2 Max
The meaningful S2 Max test will be the environments that are hardest to reproduce in a stage demo: dense tree cover, wet grass, narrow passages and soft borders. Removing RTK removes the reference antenna but shifts more responsibility to vision and local mapping. Position stability after lighting changes, docking and loss of distinctive visual features will matter. At a claimed 15,000 m² capacity, real daily throughput and charging time are also essential — a maximum supported area does not tell buyers how long a complete mowing cycle takes.
