ACEMATE S10 Pro Tennis Robot Debuts at IFA for €2,999

Verified on the evening of 3 September 2026. ACEMATE has unveiled the S10 Pro at IFA 2026, a tennis training robot combining vision, on-court mobility and ball launching. It is one of the more unusual robotics launches at the show, and it has an important editorial advantage: the company published an official European price and is accepting preorder deposits. European MSRP is €2,999.

More than a stationary ball machine

Conventional ball machines stand in one place and repeat programmed feeds. S10 Pro uses dual 4K HDR cameras as a binocular-vision system plus an omnidirectional mobile base. In Rally Mode it is designed to track the ball, move across the court, catch in-bounds shots and return from the landing position. That is the manufacturer's intended behaviour; RoboMorrow has not tested it and there is no independent success-rate benchmark in this announcement.

ACEMATE lists five main modes: Rally, Drill, Serve, Ball Machine and Battle. Battle is designed to simulate Defense, Attack, Topspin and Variety opponent styles and record point-by-point results. Software like this may be more important than the launcher alone because it can introduce decision-making and positioning rather than repeating one forehand feed.

ACE+ SHOT: up to 120 km/h and 180 degrees

The new ACE+ SHOT system changes horizontal launch direction inside the machine instead of rotating the whole robot before every feed. The company claims ball speed up to 120 km/h and horizontal coverage up to 180 degrees. Launch angle can be adjusted from 7 to 40 degrees, trajectory height from 1 to 8 metres and feed interval from 1 to 15 seconds, with flat, topspin and backspin options.

Those are strong specifications, but the meaningful benchmarks will be landing-point repeatability, spin control, reaction time after fast shots and tracking under sun, shadow and different court colours. Without such evidence, RoboMorrow does not call S10 Pro a validated professional-level coach simply because that is its Marketing position.

Five hours and 100 balls

The robot holds up to 100 balls and is rated for up to five hours of battery runtime. ACEMATE says it can operate on hard, clay and grass courts. Mobility on clay is particularly interesting because dust and slip create a harsher environment for wheels, sensors and mechanisms than a clean indoor court.

S10 Pro can be controlled through a phone, compatible smartwatch or gestures. The app is set to include more than 100 training plans. The company also describes a five-stage “Train, Track, Analyze, Review, Improve” loop that presents results, AI analysis and recommendations after a session.

“AI” does not replace measurement

AI analysis is attractive language, but the release does not provide independent validation of recommendation quality against a professional coach or error margins for speed, spin and placement measurement. We therefore treat it as a system feature, not proof that the algorithm can reliably diagnose a player's technique.

That distinction matters at €2,999. Buyers should expect not only a long feature list but stable mechanics, service, consumables, safe operation around players and software support over multiple seasons.

This is different from many IFA launches: euro is an official regional MSRP, so there is no need to fabricate an FX conversion from US dollars. We still do not convert €2,999 into PLN and label it an official Polish price without a Polish offer.

Why it fits RoboMorrow

S10 Pro shows consumer robotics expanding beyond cleaning and gardens. Sport is an interesting category because the task is repetitive, the environment relatively controlled and value can be measured through rally count, placement, pace and training time. That can provide a clearer route to commercial utility than general-purpose companion concepts where outcomes are more subjective.

RoboMorrow view: publish as a complete IFA launch story with price and preorder status. Do not call it a review or test. A future update should require regular EU shipping, independent accuracy/tracking testing or a confirmed Polish sales/service channel.

Safety and court logistics

A mobile machine sharing a court with a player while launching balls at high speed must be evaluated as mechanical equipment, not only as an AI gadget. Safety zones, emergency stop behaviour, loss-of-tracking handling and reliable distinction between a ball and a person entering the robot's path all matter. The launch release does not provide a complete incident-rate metric, so RoboMorrow does not infer safety performance from the camera specification alone.

The 100-ball capacity also sets a practical limit. During intensive sessions, someone still has to collect balls and refill the magazine, so “autonomous training” is not literally hands-free for hours. Clubs will also care about wheel and launcher durability in clay dust, transporting the unit between courts, and whether charging or battery handling fits back-to-back training sessions.
