ECOVACS DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone vs Dreame X50 Ultra Complete compares two 2026 flagships built around very different ideas. X11 centres on OZMO Roller 2.0, a bagless OmniCyclone dock and PowerBoost charging during service stops. X50 answers with ProLeap threshold mobility, retractable VersaLift navigation, dual rotating pads and an extensive PowerDock.

Mobility: X50 has the clearest advantage

Dreame states up to 42 mm for a single step and 60 mm for a two-stage obstacle. The distinction matters: 60 mm is not one vertical sill. ECOVACS TruePass states up to 2.4 cm for a single threshold and up to 4 cm for complex thresholds or sliding-door tracks. If your main problem is a conventional 35–40 mm door bar, X50 is the more natural starting point, although approach angle and top width still matter.

Low furniture

X50 uses VersaLift DToF. Dreame lists 89 mm height with the sensor retracted and 111 mm with it raised. That does not mean every navigation function behaves identically under every low cabinet, but it gives X50 a meaningful advantage in homes with several spaces around 9 cm high.

Mopping: X11 roller versus X50 rotating pads

ECOVACS uses OZMO Roller 2.0, stating 200 rpm and continuous fresh-water delivery. The concept is designed to keep presenting a cleaner section of mop to the floor. Dreame uses two rotating pads supported by a mature dock-washing system. We do not name a mopping winner without the same stains, floor and cleaning protocol. The roller has an architectural advantage in continuous refresh, while pads remain simple to remove and replace.

Dock: bagless X11 versus bagged PowerDock

OmniCyclone is one of X11's defining features. Debris goes into a cyclone container rather than a disposable bag; ECOVACS says this can avoid the use of 25 bags over five years. It is not maintenance-free: the bin, separator and filters need cleaning. X50 uses a 3.2-litre bag and Dreame advertises up to 100 days between emptying under its test assumptions. A sealed bag may actually be more convenient for an allergy-sensitive household.

75°C versus 80°C should not choose the robot

ECOVACS describes 75°C hot-water soaking/washing for the roller, while Dreame markets mop washing up to 80°C. A five-degree difference is not an independent cleaning test. Flow, contact time, mechanical action and how much soil returns to the floor matter too.

Suction: 19,500 Pa versus 20,000 Pa is effectively a paper tie

X11 is rated at 19,500 Pa and 18 L/s airflow with a 100 W fan. X50 is rated at 20,000 Pa. A 500 Pa headline difference is not a sensible purchase criterion. Brush geometry, airflow, sealing, carpet behaviour and the auto-empty path matter more.

Hair and pets

Both models have anti-tangle systems. ECOVACS uses ZeroTangle 3.0 with a Triple-V structure and spiral comb, while Dreame uses its dual HyperStream brush. Both brands make strong anti-tangle claims, but without a shared long-hair and pet-fur test we do not assign a winner. The side brush and auto-empty channel also deserve inspection in a pet home.

Large homes: PowerBoost is a unique X11 argument

ECOVACS says PowerBoost can recover roughly 6% battery in three minutes during routine mop-service stops, reducing the need for a separate long charge and enabling very large jobs. The company quotes coverage up to 1,000 m² in specified conditions. That is irrelevant in a 60 m² apartment but can matter in a very large home.

Obstacle avoidance and privacy

X11 uses AIVI 3D 3.0 and a vision-language model; X50 combines an AI RGB camera with 3D structured light. Thin cables, dark socks, chair legs and small toys are harder tests than a Marketing count of object classes. If cameras matter to your privacy model, review remote-view and data settings before enabling them.

Ownership cost

X11 removes one recurring consumable: dust bags. X50 uses the conventional bag model but makes disposal cleaner. Both still need filters, brushes, mopping parts, detergent and dock cleaning. We do not calculate TCO from a single promotional device price because retail prices and Complete bundles change quickly.

Which one should you buy?

Choose X50 if difficult thresholds, low furniture and a highly automated conventional dock are the priorities. Choose X11 OmniCyclone if you want bagless ownership, roller mopping and a very large floor where PowerBoost can be useful. For pets and a normal-sized home, both need to be judged on real obstacles rather than suction figures.

Why 19,500 versus 20,000 Pa does not decide this comparison

A 500 Pa difference is only 2.6% of the headline maximum and is far too small to choose a robot on its own. Pa describes peak pressure under a specific test condition, not grams of debris removed from a carpet. X11 also publishes 18 L/s airflow and a 100 W fan, but even that richer set of numbers is not a shared cleaning test. Brush geometry, air sealing, power automation and floor type all matter.

Thresholds: the wording correction that matters

Dreame often communicates '6 cm' and ECOVACS '4 cm', but those maxima refer to complex geometry. Dreame's official table separates 42 mm for a single step from 60 mm for a two-step obstacle. ECOVACS states 2.4 cm for a single threshold and up to 4 cm for specified complex thresholds or door tracks. A single 55 mm vertical sill is not automatically validated by either maximum claim.

Bagless docks and allergies

OmniCyclone removes the need to buy bags, but emptying a bin can release fine dust. In an allergy-sensitive household, Dreame's sealed disposable bag may be more convenient even though it is a recurring consumable. A user who dislikes buying bags and is comfortable washing the cyclone bin gets a real consumables advantage from X11. This is a hygiene and logistics trade-off, not a simple 'bagless is better' verdict.

Mopping: two genuinely different compromises

OZMO Roller 2.0 spins quickly and is continuously refreshed with water during cleaning, aiming to reduce the amount of dirty mop surface dragged across the next section. X50 uses two rotating pads that can be lifted/removed and are regularly washed in the dock. The roller has a theoretical continuous-refresh advantage; pads are familiar and easy to replace manually. Without identical stains and floors, we do not award a mopping winner.

Carpets, hair and pets

ECOVACS uses ZeroTangle 3.0 while Dreame uses HyperStream DuoBrush. Both are aimed at long hair and pet fur. In a pet home I would also judge object avoidance around bowls and toys, how the auto-empty path handles large fur loads, and whether mopping exclusions are reliable. A single '100% anti-tangle' Marketing claim cannot settle the entire use case.

Apps and automation

Both are flagships with maps, zones, schedules and vision-based obstacle avoidance. ECOVACS develops YIKO/VLM features; Dreame combines its own voice control with extensive PowerDock automation. The more important long-term question is whether the map remains stable after weeks of use and whether carpet, mop and no-go behaviour can be configured without constant corrections.

Current X50 pricing shows why we do not hard-code a price winner

On 26 August 2026, Dreame's official Polish store lists X50 Ultra Complete at about €850 with a higher crossed-out reference price. Promotions change quickly, while ECOVACS does not expose an equally stable Polish X11 price on its official product page. We therefore do not build the verdict around a temporary promotion. Check both live prices and the exact Complete/OmniCyclone bundle before buying.

Four home types: where each model starts stronger

  • Older apartment with high thresholds: X50, mainly because of ProLeap and 42 mm single-step capability.
  • Large modern home without difficult thresholds: X11 can be more distinctive because of PowerBoost and the bagless dock.
  • Lots of low furniture: X50 because it can reduce body height to 89 mm with VersaLift retracted.
  • User who never wants to buy dust bags: X11 OmniCyclone, accepting manual bin cleaning.

RoboMorrow verdict

There is no context-free winner. X50 is more convincing as the robot for difficult geometry; X11 is more distinctive as the robot for bagless ownership and continuously refreshed roller mopping. The meaningful difference is architecture, not one headline number.
