OmniCyclone: why a bagless dock matters
Most auto-empty docks move dust into a disposable bag. X11 uses a bagless PureCyclone 2.0 system. ECOVACS claims savings equivalent to up to 25 bags over five years. The real saving depends on usage and bag prices, but maintenance changes either way: instead of replacing a sealed bag, you empty and periodically clean the bin and cyclone components.
A sealed bag can be preferable for allergy-sensitive users because emptying a bin may release more dust. For buyers who dislike consumable bags and are comfortable washing the container, OmniCyclone offers a real ownership advantage.
PowerBoost: designed for large cleaning jobs
PowerBoost adds about 6% battery in three minutes while the robot is already at the dock for routine mop care. Rather than waiting for a separate long charge, the robot opportunistically recovers energy. ECOVACS uses this to support very large cleaning-area claims, including up to 1,000 m² in a defined test scenario.
On a 50–80 m² apartment, PowerBoost is unlikely to decide the purchase. In a 200–400 m² home with frequent mopping, it can matter more because it reduces the total time needed to finish an extended task.
OZMO Roller 2.0: 200 rpm and continuous refresh
Instead of two rotating pads, X11 uses a roller that is refreshed during cleaning. ECOVACS states 200 rpm. The concept should reduce the amount of dirty mop surface dragged across subsequent rooms, but RoboMorrow does not assume that a roller automatically beats premium spinning pads on every stain. TruEdge 3.0 and edges
TruEdge 3.0 extends the mopping element by around 1.5 cm to get closer to walls and edges. Geometry still wins in sharp corners, so no round robot can physically reach every millimetre.

PowerBoost: why fast top-ups matter
PowerBoost is designed to reduce long charging pauses during extended cleaning cycles. ECOVACS describes short top-ups while the robot is servicing its mop at the station. This is most relevant in larger homes where vacuuming and mopping require repeated dock visits. It does not mean unlimited runtime under every setting; return frequency still depends on cleaning mode, soil level and mop-washing configuration.
Bagless dock: benefit and trade-off
OmniCyclone is especially interesting for buyers who do not want to keep purchasing disposable station bags. The cyclone bin can be emptied and cleaned, reducing consumable dependence. The trade-off is that the user still has to handle the bin and filters. For some allergy-sensitive users, a sealed disposable bag can be cleaner to remove, so bagless is not automatically superior for everyone.
OZMO Roller 2.0 and edge cleaning
A roller mop behaves differently from two spinning pads. The technical specification lists 24 mm for conventional barrier crossing. ECOVACS Marketing also describes higher two-stage or rail-like structures where the combined level change can be larger. RoboMorrow does not interpret 4 cm as a guarantee that the robot will climb any sharp vertical 4 cm step. Measure height, width, profile and available run-up space before relying on the claim.

If the priority is an ultra-low body, exceptional threshold climbing or a different mopping mechanism, compare X11 directly with competing flagships rather than choosing on 19,500 Pa alone.
Bagless cyclone vs a sealed dust bag
OmniCyclone removes the recurring bag purchase but changes maintenance. The bin, separator and filter need emptying and periodic cleaning. That is a real ownership benefit for users who dislike consumable bags. Allergy-sensitive users may prefer a sealed disposable bag because it can reduce dust exposure while emptying. Neither architecture is universally better.
75°C hot washing is not automatically “disinfection”
ECOVACS states mop washing with water up to 75°C. We treat this as a cleaning-process specification, not proof that the floor or dock is disinfected. Outcome depends on contact time, flow, detergent and actual temperature at the relevant part of the system. A higher °C headline is not a complete hygiene benchmark.
19,500 Pa and 18 L/s measure different things
Pressure and airflow describe different parts of a vacuum system. Neither number alone predicts carpet pickup. Brush geometry, airflow path, sealing, drive speed and control strategy also matter, so suction figures should not be converted into a RoboMorrow cleaning score.
