Robot Vacuum Dimensions & Threshold Database

Will a robot fit under your sofa, cross the threshold and leave enough space for its dock? This database turns scattered manufacturer specifications into one fit filter.

Fit calculator

Check furniture, thresholds and dock space

A blank field does not restrict results. An active criterion excludes models without a verified value.

The filter keeps a 5 mm margin.
Important: a two-step threshold is not equivalent to one vertical edge. Profile, step width, grip and approach angle all matter.

Reality Check

How to read these numbers

01

Furniture

Measure the lowest point along the full route, not just the edge. Keep at least 5 mm for flex, carpet and floor variation.

02

Thresholds

An 88 mm claim usually describes two stages, not an 88 mm vertical bar. Check the cross-section and required spacing.

03

Dock

Add room for tank opening, cable routing, ventilation and a straight robot approach beyond the dock body.

Auditability

Manufacturer source register

Every value comes from an official product page, manual or support centre. Values were normalized to millimetres and checked on 23 Sep 2026.

FAQ

The important caveats

Why are some values blank?

Because the manufacturer source did not publish an unambiguous number. A blank value is safer than copying an estimate or a retailer listing.

Does a matching height guarantee the robot will fit?

No. The calculator keeps a 5 mm margin, but sloped undersides, rugs, floor variation and moving sensors can still reduce clearance.

Can I compare single and two-step threshold figures directly?

No. They describe different obstacle geometries. Use the single-step figure for one edge and the two-step figure only when your threshold resembles the maker test layout.

Data last checked: 23 Sep 2026. Figures are manufacturer claims and may depend on obstacle geometry, regional version and test conditions.
