Robot deployments in Poland and Europe: 15 sourced cases
The useful question about a robot is who has trusted it with a specific job. This atlas collects fifteen reported cases from Poland and Europe. Every record connects the customer, location, task, robot and source. Seven concern Poland. It is an editorial selection, not a complete market registry.
Use it to find a comparable process and ask better supplier questions. A factory, warehouse and power plant have different needs from a home. A strong result at one named customer does not establish the economics of a second installation.
RoboMorrow · Decision Lab
Robots have a location. And a specific job.
15 examples from Poland and Europe. An evidence atlas, not a complete market census or a manufacturer ranking. We verify what the cited sources report; we do not claim that every installation is still operating today.
15 records
1. Schneider Electric
Bukowno, PL · MiR500
Moves finished products between production and warehouse. The case describes pallet stations and operator-issued missions.
The source dates use to January 2020. Today’s fleet size and installed cost are not confirmed.
2. Whirlpool
Łódź, PL · MiR200
Component transport between assembly lines. The case covers three robots and returning empty packaging.
The first trial is dated December 2018. The customer and factory names reflect the historical source, not current ownership.
3. Valeo
Skawina, PL · MiR, w tym / including MiR250
Parts containers move on carts, coordinated through MiR Fleet mission queues.
The introduction says two robots; the body says four. This inconsistent count is not used for fleet totals.
4. B/S/H Home Appliances Group
Rzeszów, PL · MiR250 + DORSAL
Waste bins are collected, taken to a compactor and returned. The integrator reports three robots and station management.
132,000 litres per day is a stated maximum system throughput, not an independently measured daily output.
5. Borg Automotive
Zduńska Wola, PL · MiR250 + FORMIGA
KLT container transport with delivery confirmation in MES. The case describes three MiR250 robots.
The reported outcomes concern the served areas, not all company transport. Cost and commissioning date are not provided.
6. BMW Group
Leipzig, DE · Hexagon AEON
Humanoid pilot involving component and battery production. BMW describes integration into existing processes.
The 21 Sep 2026 article also contains an earlier schedule. Classified as a pilot; no basis for claiming full-scale production operation.
7. Hermes Fulfilment / Otto Group
Haldensleben, DE · Boston Dynamics Stretch
Unloads cartons from trailers and containers onto a conveyor.
A plan for more than 20 locations is not a count of confirmed installations. This record concerns the named fulfilment centre.
8. DHL Supply Chain / Makro
Madrid, ES · Locus Origin
Moves totes to assigned pallets for HoReCa fulfilment. The provider describes RaaS and seasonal fleet scaling.
Productivity improvement is a provider-reported result for this operation. It is not transferred to other warehouses.
9. Unilever Poland
Katowice, PL · Universal Robots UR10
Palletises tea cartons. The manufacturer describes six cobots and a vacuum-gripper implementation.
The historical customer name comes from the case study. Current ownership is not confirmed and the case does not replace cell risk assessment.
10. Temar
Polska / Poland — miasto niepodane / city not stated · Universal Robots UR10e
Welding, press tending and handling at the paint shop. The case describes four UR10e cobots.
The laser cell is still described as being prepared. It is not classified as completed; no city is guessed.
11. Ford España
Almussafes–Valencia, ES · MiR100
Supplies parts and materials to stations in body and stamping operations.
Three robots are reported in a historical case study. This does not confirm today’s fleet or vehicle production volume.
12. Milton Keynes — Starship
Milton Keynes, UK · Starship delivery robots
Urban delivery robots. The city council confirms that Milton Keynes previously hosted Starship delivery robots.
The same release announces a separate Coco/Deliveroo trial. That announcement is not counted as an operating deployment, and the operators are not merged.
13. Wien Energie
Simmering, Wien, AT · Boston Dynamics Spot
Autonomous inspection rounds of power-plant equipment; the source dates initial operation to 2023.
The source schedules four additional robots from 2027. This October 2026 release does not count them as already deployed.
14. Stera Technologies
Turku, FI · MiR500
Delivers components and returns finished goods on different pallet formats using adapted stations.
The installation uses adapted stations and fixtures. Buying the base robot alone does not reproduce it.
15. Kverneland Group
Denmark — zakład opisany bez miasta / city not stated · MiR500
Moves materials and components in an agricultural-machinery factory.
The page reports AMR use in Denmark but gives no city or commissioning date. No precise point is shown.

What counts as deployment evidence?
We prefer a customer statement or a manufacturer or integrator report that identifies both customer and task. Pilots remain distinct from reported operation. The date we check a page does not mean the robot operated on that date. For older reports we preserve historical customer names and state that current operation is unconfirmed.
Expansion announcements are not completed deployments. In the Wien Energie report, additional robots planned from 2027 do not become installed units in October 2026. For Hermes, the named fulfilment centre is distinguished from the wider rollout plan.
Three questions a case study does not settle
Complete system cost: a robot price may omit stations, integrations, mapping and training. Human involvement: an automated route may still need manual loading or interventions. Repeatability: expected payback and a result achieved at a specific factory are not universal forecasts.
How to use the atlas for your project
Choose a similar task, then list the differences: aisle widths, floors, pallets, doors, shifts and pedestrian traffic. Request a trial at your own site with acceptance criteria agreed in advance. Measure correctly completed tasks, interventions, handling time and downtime. Compare quotations after establishing those conditions.
