Choose a robot: start with the job, then the model
An expensive mistake is buying a good robot for the wrong job. Start with the constraints of the place and workflow. Then compare the model, equipment, price and support.
RoboMorrow · Decision Lab
Three decisions to make before buying.
Home
Measure furniture, thresholds and dock access.
Check the scenario →Windows
Count panels, sides and manual moves.
Check the scenario →Business
Check the task, site and deployment evidence.
Check the scenario →We do not combine unrelated uses into one ranking. First exclude mismatches; then compare operation, evidence and the complete quotation scope.

1. Eliminate clear mismatches
At home, measure the lowest clearance, threshold and dock recess. Check tank removal too. For windows, count separate panels and establish safe access. At work, define the task, route and integrations. Do not add up points for features that leave the basic obstacle unresolved.
2. Count the work left to people
Autonomous movement does not mean zero handling. Consumables, preparation, component cleaning and exception handling remain. A window robot does not change panes itself; a warehouse robot does not necessarily load itself. Identify who performs every remaining action and when.
3. Check the quality of the evidence
Distinguish a hands-on editorial test, manufacturer claim, manual, demonstration and deployment report. A video’s appearance does not establish product capability. Decision Lab does not fill missing values merely to ensure every calculation has a winner.
4. Compare the same quotation scope
Model passports separate market, price, configuration, human involvement and support. A US listing does not establish delivery or warranty support in Poland. A deposit is not the complete price. A Complete variant may include a different accessory bundle from the base version.
5. Plan a small trial before a large commitment
Select a difficult but representative part of the job. Record outcomes, interventions and active handling time. Try removing a filled dock tank, test one safely accessible pane, or agree a business acceptance trial at your own site. The result should repeat reliably, not merely look convincing in a demonstration.

What does a tool result mean?
“Fits dimensionally” concerns entered measurements. “Conditional” needs further checks. “Rejected” identifies a scenario-specific obstacle. “Insufficient evidence” is the honest response when a variant or parameter cannot be confirmed. No result replaces the manual or a check in your own environment.
