Measure the whole route, not one clearance
A sofa leg may be taller than the crossbar under its centre. Measure the lowest point along the route, including rugs and uneven flooring. Minimum body height does not guarantee reliable movement in every lowered mode. Enter a measurement margin in the calculator; its default 5 mm is an editorial assumption, not a manufacturer guarantee.
Threshold figures can describe different obstacles
Do not compare a two-step claim with the height of one vertical edge. Photograph the profile beside a ruler and measure both steps and their spacing. If the manufacturer does not confirm your geometry, make a crossing trial an acceptance condition rather than treating an advertising maximum as a pass.
What should break a tie?
If both models fit and complete the same routes, compare tank access, dock cleaning, bundle contents and support in the purchase country. X50 makes sense when it meets your requirements and the complete offer is more attractive. Choosing Saros needs a specific advantage in your home, not simply a higher specification number.

Consider Saros 20 where low furniture access and threshold profile genuinely restrict the choice. Do not treat the 79.5 mm suspension-compression footnote as a safe entry height: the nominal body is 79.8 mm and the manufacturer warns of possible scratching. This profile covers the standard Saros 20; Sonic and other variants are not interchangeable names.

X50 Ultra Complete is worth comparing when it fits beneath furniture and through your home’s passages. A lower X60 is not automatically necessary unless it solves a specific limitation. Confirm Complete, dock and accessory list before comparing prices; an older promotion is not a current price.
How to compare cleaning results
Define the same area, ordinary debris and acceptable result. Record mode, pass count and touch-ups. Do not mix carpet outcomes with hard-floor results. If you do not have both machines, use the list as a demonstration or post-purchase check plan rather than a completed trial.
Dock and bundle cost
Check dock space, lid opening, tank removal and cleaning of accessible parts. Purchase price does not automatically cover all future consumables or your time. Compare full model name, seller, country, equipment and delivery on the same date. Older promotions are not presented as current offers.

With low furniture, start with robot height and entry-condition footnotes. For thresholds, you need the obstacle profile. Only after these two filters should you compare bundle price, dock and accessories. Do not add maximum obstacle height, suction pressure and temperature into one score: they describe different conditions and are not a shared measure of cleaning quality.
