Dreame X60 Ultra Complete vs X50 Ultra Complete: what actually changed in 2026?
Dreame X60 Ultra Complete is a clear evolution of X50 Ultra Complete, but not an automatic winner for every home. X60 is lower, carries higher stated numbers for suction, thresholds and object recognition, and raises the dock’s mop-washing temperature. X50, however, has a larger onboard dustbin, larger dock water tanks and cost about €150 less on Dreame Poland’s official store on 21 August 2026. The useful question is therefore not “which one is newer?” but “does X60’s mechanical advantage solve a real problem in your home?”
European price context: euro figures on this page are deliberately rounded buying-context bands based on the verified Polish offer snapshot. They are not live country-specific retail prices and are not presented as an exact FX conversion. Always verify the current local offer before purchase.
This is not a RoboMorrow hands-on review or a comparative lab test. The table is based on current Dreame technical pages and European price contexts verified on 21 August 2026. As separate context we use Vacuum Wars’ independent test of the US X60 Max Ultra Complete; that US variant is not treated as identical to the Polish X60 Ultra Complete.
X60 or X50: the 60-second decision
| Decision point | X60 Ultra Complete | X50 Ultra Complete | What it changes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Retracted height | 79.5 mm | 89 mm | X60 wins only where furniture clearance falls between those measurements. Measure the lowest crossbar, not the front edge. |
| Manufacturer suction claim | 35,000 Pa | 20,000 Pa | These are not results from one independent test protocol; brush design and carpet contact still matter. |
| Single / two-step threshold claim | 4.5 / 8.8 cm | 4.2 / 6.0 cm | Maximum figures depend on obstacle geometry and approach angle. |
| Object categories | 280+ | up to 200 | Useful context for cluttered homes, but not a guarantee that every cable will be avoided. |
| Dock mop washing | up to 100°C | up to 80°C | The temperature describes pad washing inside the dock, not floor temperature. |
| Polish price snapshot | PLN 3,999 sale | PLN 2,999 | At a roughly PLN 1,000 gap, the upgrade should remove a known access or maintenance limitation. |
Buy X60 when
- your lowest furniture clearance is roughly 80–88 mm;
- a difficult two-step threshold blocks the older platform in practice;
- reducing rescue events in a cluttered home matters more than the price gap;
- you mop heavily and value the hotter dock-wash specification.
Buy X50 when
Your clearances exceed 89 mm, thresholds are modest and the home can be prepared before each run. X50 keeps the premium dock-and-mop concept while leaving more budget for consumables or another household device. Continue with the X60 profile, X50 profile or our use-case ranking.
Method: specifications and price context were checked against official manufacturer/store material on 5 September 2026. RoboMorrow has not converted manufacturer claims into lab-test scores.
X60 vs X50 — key differences
| Feature | X60 Ultra Complete | X50 Ultra Complete |
| European price context, 21 Aug 2026 | about €1,000 | about €850 |
| Stated suction | 35,000 Pa | 20,000 Pa |
| Height, VersaLift retracted | 79.5 mm | 89 mm |
| Single threshold | 4.5 cm | 4.2 cm |
| Two-stage threshold | 8.8 cm | 6.0 cm |
| Recognised object categories | 280+ | up to 200 |
| Battery | 6,400 mAh | 6,400 mAh |
| Onboard dustbin | 235 ml | 395 ml |
| Clean/dirty water tanks | 4.2 / 3.0 L | 4.5 / 4.0 L |
| Dock mop-wash claim | up to 100°C* | up to 80°C* |
*Temperatures refer to the manufacturer-stated dock washing process and its measurement conditions. They do not mean the mop stays at that temperature throughout the cycle or that floor-washing water is delivered at that temperature.
1. 35,000 Pa vs 20,000 Pa: a large specification gap, not proof of 75% better cleaning
Mathematically, 35,000 Pa is 75% higher than 20,000 Pa. Cleaning performance does not scale one-to-one with that number. Brush design, airflow sealing, channel geometry, carpet type, software and dwell time all affect debris pickup. Higher Pa is potential that the complete system has to convert into useful cleaning.
2. 79.5 mm vs 89 mm: X60 can change the map of the home
A 9.5 mm difference looks small until furniture clearance sits between the two numbers. X60 reaches 79.5 mm with VersaLift retracted, versus 89 mm for X50. If the space under a bed is 83–87 mm, the newer chassis can unlock an area X50 cannot enter. This is one of the easiest upgrade claims to evaluate before purchase: use a tape measure.
3. Thresholds: 4.5 vs 4.2 cm single-step, 8.8 vs 6.0 cm two-stage
The 8.8 cm headline needs careful reading. Dreame defines it for a two-stage threshold. For a single obstacle, X60 is rated at 4.5 cm and X50 at 4.2 cm. A 4.4 cm wooden sill may therefore be a meaningful X60 use case. A 6.5 cm two-level transition may show an even larger gap. An awkward or slippery lip can still defeat either robot; geometry matters.
4. Two AI cameras and 280+ categories vs up to 200
X60 moves to two AI cameras with lateral 3D Structured Light and illumination. Dreame states more than 280 recognised categories versus up to 200 on X50. That should broaden semantic recognition, but it is not yet an independent obstacle-avoidance result for the Polish SKU. A system can recognise more classes and still mishandle a cable in shadow or a transparent object.
5. A hotter dock, but smaller tanks
X60 raises the manufacturer-stated mop-washing process from up to 80°C to up to 100°C and adds warm-water and dual-solution features. At the same time, clean/dirty tanks shrink from 4.5/4.0 L on X50 to 4.2/3.0 L on X60, while the onboard dustbin drops from 395 to 235 ml. Frequent auto-emptying can make the smaller dustbin irrelevant, but heavy pet-hair homes or periods when the dock is unavailable may expose the trade-off. Newer does not win every row.
6. Battery: 6,400 mAh tie
Both specify 6,400 mAh. That does not guarantee identical coverage. X60 has a more powerful motor, additional sensing and different navigation software. Vacuum Wars found battery efficiency to be one of the weaker areas of the US X60 Max Ultra Complete. That is useful caution, not a result we automatically assign to the Polish X60 Ultra Complete.
7. What independent X60 testing tells us — with a regional caveat
Vacuum Wars purchased the US X60 Max Ultra Complete and tested it independently. It performed strongly on carpet cleaning, pet hair, obstacle avoidance and dock automation, while navigation and battery efficiency were weaker. That is valuable evidence against pure Marketing. Regional naming, configuration and some specifications differ, however, so we treat it as platform context rather than a review of the Polish SKU.
Price: is the about €150 premium justified?
On 21 August 2026, Dreame Poland showed about €1,000 for X60 Ultra Complete and about €850 for X50 Ultra Complete — a roughly 17.7% premium. At those exact prices, X60 is easier to justify when furniture sits below 89 mm, thresholds are difficult or many small obstacles are left on the floor. If those problems do not exist, X50 keeps a 6,400 mAh battery, a highly automated dock, 20,000 Pa, ProLeap and a long premium feature list for less.
Dreame promotions change quickly, so the about €150 gap is not a permanent recommendation. If X60 receives a deeper discount or X50 returns to a higher price, the value equation changes. RoboMorrow rankings should therefore treat price as a dynamic variable rather than a fixed model attribute.
Which one should you choose?
X60 Ultra Complete: prioritise it if you need the lower body, higher threshold tolerance, newer vision system or simply want Dreame’s most advanced current platform. X50 Ultra Complete: remains the rational value choice if clearance and thresholds are not problems and the price gap matters. In a home without difficult geometry, X60’s advantage may feel smaller than the specification sheet suggests.
