Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller vs MOVA Z60: which to buy?

The MOVA Z60 Ultra Roller Complete is our first shortlist choice for a home dominated by hard floors when it costs meaningfully less. The Dreame Aqua10 Ultra Roller Complete becomes attractive when local pricing, the accessory bundle or seller support favours it. A 30,000 versus 28,000 Pa specification should not decide the purchase. Mopping performance, rugs, maintenance and furniture clearance matter more.

Checked on 4 September 2026. This is a document-based comparison informed by named external tests, not a RoboMorrow hands-on review. We mean the Ultra Roller Complete versions, not the Aqua10 Ultra Track or another Aqua10 variant.

When would we choose the MOVA Z60?

Start here if your recurring problem is footprints, dust and dried kitchen marks on tile or another surface approved for wet mopping. Both robots continuously rinse a roller, but that shared description does not make their cleaning identical. Water delivery, scrubbing, the number of passes and dirty-water recovery all affect the result.

In its own testing, Vacuum Wars found the Z60 stronger at removing dried stains than the Aqua10, while noting greater water use. That is evidence from an external test protocol, not a promise for every floor. A larger home should also consider how often its chosen cleaning routine will require attention to the water tanks.

If the MOVA is clearly cheaper in your market, we would not pay more for the Dreame solely because its suction claim is higher. The saving only counts when the seller, supplied accessories and after-sales arrangements are comparable. An apparently cheap import with unclear support is a different proposition from a properly documented local bundle.

When can the Dreame be the better purchase?

The Aqua10 deserves a place on the shortlist when its final local price is similar, you prefer operating a Dreame system, or a trusted seller offers a more useful package. Access to the right replacement parts can matter more over several years than a small specification difference. We do not assume either brand provides superior support in every country: check the actual seller and service arrangements.

The higher claimed roller-washing temperature is a dock feature. It does not mean that the robot mops your floor with 100°C water, nor does it establish floor sterilisation or universal superiority on stains. If a listing shortens this to “100°C mopping”, inspect the full description and ask what is heated, where, and under which conditions.

Complete is also a bundle designation worth checking carefully. Extra consumables are valuable if they match the model and you will use them. They are less compelling when they distract from an inconvenient dock or a poor fit for your rooms. For a broader ownership perspective, read our guide to annual robot-vacuum running costs.

Rugs and pet hair: suction is not a test result

Shielding a wet roller helps separate the mop from a carpet, but it does not make every rug suitable. Consider pile depth, loose fringes, lightweight runners and how the robot transitions onto the material. For a particularly delicate rug, a no-mop zone and a supervised first run following the manual are more sensible than assuming a Marketing diagram covers every situation.

RTINGS identifies carpet and pet-hair limitations in its Aqua10 Ultra Roller review, despite stronger hard-floor performance. Good mopping should therefore not be treated as proof of equally good cleaning everywhere. If thick carpets and shedding pets dominate your home, use our robot-vacuum guide for pet owners to set the requirements before choosing a mop design.

Likewise, obstacle recognition should not be treated as a guarantee against every pet accident. Before early cleaning runs, remove cables, small objects and contamination that the machine should not spread. A dependable routine comes from understanding the system's limits, not from asking it to recognise every possible hazard without supervision.

Furniture clearance and thresholds can eliminate both

The difference between the two minimum body heights is just 1.5 mm. We would not make a purchase on the assumption that such a narrow margin guarantees access. Measure the underside of the furniture, not only the front opening: a hidden crossbar, sagging fabric or a rug on the approach can be the real obstruction. Our low-profile robot vacuum ranking is a better starting point when clearance is substantially below 10 cm.

Similarly, the 8 cm threshold claims refer to specified two-step configurations. They do not describe a universal ability to climb an 8 cm vertical ledge. Shape, traction and the manufacturer's test conditions matter. Check the distinction between a single obstacle and a stepped transition in our high-threshold buying guide.

Remember the dock as well. You need room to lift the lid, remove the tanks and give the robot a suitable approach. A cabinet that accommodates the dock's footprint may still make daily maintenance frustrating. Mark out the base on the floor and simulate taking out a full water tank before committing to its location.

Automation reduces maintenance; it does not remove it

Both products combine a roller, dirty-water recovery and a washing station. Automatic rinsing does not mean hair, residue and odour can never accumulate. After demanding kitchen cleaning, check the accessible parts in accordance with the manual and empty the dirty-water tank promptly. Do not judge the ownership experience only by the first clean floor.

Detergent handling needs equal care. An automatic solution cartridge and a clean-water tank are not interchangeable, and there is no dilution ratio that safely covers every product. Our robot-mop cleaning solution guide explains that distinction. Pair it with the dock-cleaning guide if low maintenance is a major reason for buying.

Our verdict by household

  • Mainly hard floors and a cheaper Z60: start with the MOVA, while considering water use and dock upkeep.
  • Similar pricing and a more useful Dreame package: the Aqua10 is a reasonable alternative. Do not pay a premium just for Pa or dock temperature.
  • Carpet-heavy rooms or very low furniture: establish those constraints first. Neither robot automatically wins this scenario.
  • You dislike maintaining a wet roller system: compare it with spinning mop pads before purchasing.

Frequently asked questions

Does 30,000 Pa mean the Aqua10 cleans better?

No. It is a claimed suction specification, not a shared debris-pickup test. Brushes, navigation, floor type and cleaning mode all matter. We do not rank different brands simply by comparing their Pa figures.

Can both robots protect carpets from the wet roller?

Both advertise a roller-cover system. You must still follow the model's restrictions and assess the actual rug. A protective cover is not a guarantee for every pile height, material or fringe arrangement.

Should I wait for a discount?

If your current cleaner works, decide which functions you need and what total price you will accept. Watch the exact Complete variant and seller. A discount can change the value judgement, but it cannot fix a robot that does not fit your home.
