Robot vacuum replacement parts: check compatibility
The cheapest accessory bundle can become expensive when a brush does not fit its mount or a bag fails to seal the dock’s air path. Check compatibility against the complete robot model and dock variant, not just the brand. Look for an explicit model list and part identifier.

Do not transfer the freedom to choose a cleaning cloth to the choice of a battery. The Saros 20 manual limits compatible power and dock components and describes user-maintenance tasks. Another series needs its own documentation.
A compatibility record before ordering
- Read the identifiers on both robot and dock. Add the purchase region and complete variant, especially where names are similar.
- Find the existing part number in the manual, manufacturer catalogue or service confirmation.
- Compare the fitting and relevant features. Colour or a photograph of a similar filter is insufficient.
- Check the seller’s explicit compatibility statement and resolve discrepancies before installation.
- Keep the listing and delivered part identifier. Do not assume a repeat order will contain an unchanged product.
What matters for individual components
Filters: examine the frame, seal and permitted cleaning method. A different washable filter does not establish that yours can be washed. Do not install a damp component when the instructions require it to dry fully.
Bags: compare the collar, guides and closure. Capacity in litres says nothing about the fit in a particular dock. If dust appears outside the bag after replacement, pause automatic emptying and check both installation and compatibility.
Brushes and pads: compare ends, bearings, orientation and the shape of the carrier. An excessively thick or incorrectly mounted pad can change floor contact. After replacement, supervise a short run and check for unusual noise, resistance and marks.
Build an availability basket
Before buying the robot, identify its filter, main brush, pads and bags where applicable. Record the seller, exact part identifier, delivery time, pack price and quantity. This makes unit cost and potential downtime visible instead of relying on “parts are easy to find”.
Illustrative example: six bags at €18 cost €3 each before delivery; four at €16 cost €4 each. The calculation becomes useful only after compatibility is established. These are examples, not current offers or a claim that one brand is cheaper to maintain.
When should a part be replaced?
An app counter is a prompt to consult the manual and inspect the component. A split, permanent deformation or torn material needs attention regardless of its displayed remaining percentage. A dirty filter is not necessarily worn out, but washing is not an approved recovery method for every filter.
Keep a modest stock of the consumables your exact setup uses. Check the first delivery before buying a multi-year supply. Consider delivery reliability too: a slightly cheaper part can be poor value if it leaves the machine unusable for weeks.
A saved compatibility record also helps when contacting support. You can provide the robot, dock and part identifiers together, rather than asking whether an unlabelled accessory “looks right”. That is a more reliable purchasing method than a listing claiming to fit every robot from one brand.
Compare the cost of usable parts, not the whole box
A bundle might include six bags, two brushes and pads your variant does not use. Count only parts that fit and will actually be needed. Included accessories do not create a saving if they have no use in your system.
Illustrative example: six compatible bags costing €18 plus €3 delivery work out at €3.50 each. Four compatible bags for €15 with delivery included cost €3.75 each. The difference is €0.25 per usable bag. If uncertain fittings cause an expensive return on the first offer, that unit-price saving may no longer matter. These are calculation inputs, not current prices or a currency conversion of a Polish offer.
Check the delivery in stages

Keep a photograph of the old and new parts together, the packaging and the compatibility description. This helps with both a complaint and the next order. When investigating noise, do not replace several different parts at once; start with the diagnostic procedure in the manual or the service team’s advice.
Keep a small reserve with a reorder point
Instead of buying several years of stock, observe your actual consumption. If a pack lasts several months and delivery takes two weeks, ordering only after the final item is used creates unnecessary downtime. Set a reorder point from consumption and a confirmed delivery time, with a modest reserve.
For parts your variant does not use, the appropriate reserve is zero. A dock connected to plumbing and a tank-based version may have different service items. Your compatibility record should therefore begin with the dock identification as well as the familiar robot name.
