Robots Are Taking Over Berlin: 17 IFA 2026 Booths to Watch

If you are going to IFA for a new television, you will find plenty. If you want to understand where consumer robotics and Physical AI are actually heading, IFA 2026 requires a very different route. This year the most interesting path starts in Hall 2.2, moves through 7.1 and the huge home-robot cluster in Hall 9, then ends in Hall 25 — which is turning into a European showcase for humanoids.

IFA 2026 runs in Berlin from 4–8 September 2026, while several key media events begin on 3 September. IFA says IFA Next is expected to host roughly 300 exhibitors and more humanoid robots than ever before. On top of that, Robots on the Runway puts robots on the Creator Stage on 5 September. The official IFA Next announcement and current Robots on the Runway programme make the message unusually clear: robotics is not a side attraction to appliances this year. It is one of the show’s core themes.

We reviewed the official IFA exhibitor directory, event programme and manufacturer pages. The guide separates CONFIRMED information from WATCH items. That matters because some companies have already published product names and launch times, while others have only confirmed a booth. Unitree is a good example: it will be at IFA, but as of 30 August its IFA profile does not confirm the H2 known from the viral “Superman” demonstration. We will not turn a possibility into a launch claim.

The key visitor tip: if robotics is your priority, do not try to “cover all of IFA”. Hall 9 + Hall 25 currently offer the highest concentration of technologies likely to matter for the 2027 market.

The shortest priority route: H2.2-101 for eufy, H7.1a-101 for Dreame, Hall 9 for the main home-and-garden robot cluster, H10.1/H11.1 for challengers, and Hall 25 for humanoids and Physical AI. If you only have a few hours, that sequence maximizes the chance of seeing technologies that could shape the 2027 market.

Hall 9: the most important home-and-garden robotics battle

Roborock — H9-111: the most detailed pre-show preview

Roborock is not hiding behind a generic “new products” promise. Its official IFA 2026 page already lists a substantial part of the line-up. The keynote is scheduled for 3 September at 12:00, while the H9-111 booth runs throughout the public show.

The strategic change is broader than another robot-vacuum refresh. RockAqua P1 is a cordless pool cleaner designed, according to Roborock, to handle shallow platforms from 15 cm and use ClearVision patrol cleaning. In the home, Saros 20 Flow introduces the SpiraFlow 2.0 roller system and Saros 20 Neo has a 7.95 cm low-profile body. Outdoors, RockNeo Q2 LiDAR brings LiDAR mapping and vision-based obstacle avoidance. Figures such as 36,000 Pa or P1’s circulation rate are manufacturer specifications, not independent RoboMorrow test results.

The bigger question is whether Roborock can transfer its software and autonomy competence from indoor cleaning into lawns and pools. The category leaders increasingly look less like single-product brands and more like platforms for autonomous property maintenance.

ECOVACS H9-113, Navimow H9-121 and MAMMOTION H9-123: three WATCH stops

Discipline matters here. ECOVACS is confirmed at H9-113, Segway Navimow at H9-121, and MAMMOTION at H9-123 plus OCG-141. Their presence is factual. Their complete IFA 2026 launch lists are not yet public in the official IFA profiles.

At ECOVACS, we want to see what comes after the current race in suction, roller mopping and increasingly autonomous docks. For context, see our DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone profile. The valuable booth demo will be one that shows reduced intervention rather than another isolated peak specification.

Navimow officially lists its i, H, X and professional Terranox families. In robot mowers, the key trend is no longer simply “no boundary wire”. The market is moving toward sensor fusion: RTK/GNSS, LiDAR, cameras, local AI and mapping increasingly back each other up. That makes Hall 9 and 11.1 especially useful for side-by-side observation. MOVA — H9-127 and OCG-125: launch on 4 September at 11:30

MOVA has scheduled “The AI Movament: Powering the M∞VA Universe” for 4 September at 11:30. The official profile already labels Z70 Ultra Roller Complete as NEW. The stronger reason to visit, however, is the way MOVA is combining cleaning, outdoor robotics and manipulation. If robotic-arm or lawn-robot demonstrations run live, they are more informative than a static product wall.

The right test is not “can it pick up an object once?” but whether it can do so repeatedly with different objects and without a technician resetting the scene. Manipulation is one of the most visually impressive robotics themes of 2026, but repeatability and error recovery still separate a product from a demo.

Dreame and eufy: two events that may shape the story before IFA opens

eufy / Anker — H2.2-101: Omni S2 and MarsWalker

Anker’s press conference is scheduled for 3 September at 09:30. From a robotics perspective, the main attraction is the eufy Robot Vacuum Omni S2 + MarsWalker combination. S2 uses HydroJet, claims 30,000 Pa and 100 AW, and relies on CleanMind AI for mapping and perception. More suction alone would not be a breakthrough. MarsWalker is the interesting part.

MarsWalker is a stair-climbing carrier that transports the cleaning robot between floors. That distinction is important: the official description does not say that MarsWalker itself cleans the stair treads. It solves a different problem — allowing one robot vacuum to serve a multi-storey home without being carried by a person. A useful live demo should show docking onto the carrier, stability on different stair geometries, recovery after a failed approach, and how much landing space the system needs.

This may be more consequential than another suction increase. Thresholds, stairs and storeys are physical boundaries of household autonomy. The industry is starting to attack them with hardware instead of software alone.

Dreame — H7.1a-101, H7.1b-101, OCG-107: concrete timing, deliberately vague products

The Dreame Innovation Launch begins on 3 September at 13:00 in H7.1a-101, one hour after Roborock’s keynote. IFA’s official description promises innovations from smart-home cleaning to “entirely new categories”. It is Marketing language, but the scheduling is meaningful: two of the most aggressive robot-cleaning companies will reveal products almost back-to-back.

We are not inventing unreleased model names. After Dreame’s recent strategic developments, the useful question is whether IFA reinforces a renewed focus on core robotics and the whole-home ecosystem or keeps pushing into more categories. This is a must-see stop precisely because the company has left the most room for a genuine surprise.

Halls 10.1 and 11.1: challengers can take bigger product risks

xLean TR1 — H11.1-129: an autonomous robot that becomes a handheld cleaner

xLean has named its IFA product: TR1, a dual-form floor-washing robot. In Robot Form it operates autonomously; in Handheld Form the user can take control for immediate spot cleaning. The transition is claimed to take one second. xLean and IFA call it the “world’s first dual-form transformable floor-washing robot”; that is a company/event claim rather than an independently verified record.

The concept itself is compelling. Autonomous robots are good at routine coverage but still lose to a person when a drink is spilled, a corner is awkward, or one patch is unusually dirty. Instead of solving every exception with an increasingly complicated arm, xLean makes the human the instant fallback.

ANTHBOT — H11.1-117: sensor fusion reaches robot mowers

IFA’s profile says the Genie Series combines RTK with four AI cameras. Sensor count is not proof of quality, but the direction is clear. Gardens are hostile to a single positioning system: trees block sky visibility, borders are ambiguous, toys and animals move, and lighting changes dramatically.

At the booth we would ask about loss of RTK under trees, return-to-work after rain, low-sun vision, false obstacles and narrow corridors — not only centimetre-level accuracy in ideal conditions. These edge cases determine whether “wire-free” actually means less work for the owner.

Hizero — H10.1-131: R700 and a different cleaning architecture

Hizero is listing the new R700 Floor Washing Robot and M101 Bionic Mop. The brand has long used a hard-floor cleaning approach that differs from classic air-suction wet/dry systems, making R700 a useful alternative architecture to inspect. It does not need to win the Pa race to matter. At IFA, watch how it separates wet and dry debris, cleans its roller, and behaves with substantial liquid spills.

Hall 25: IFA Next becomes a Physical AI show

If there is one area that was optional for a robotics visitor a few years ago but could be the most important part of IFA 2026, it is Hall 25. IFA explicitly says this year will bring more humanoids than ever and focuses on practical applications across home, services, healthcare and industry.

RoboMorrow’s show-floor test: the question is not only “can the robot do it?”. We also want to know whether it can do it a second, third and tenth time — without a scene reset or hidden operator assistance.

PUDU H25-354: D7 shows why wheels may commercialize before legs

PUDU has real-world experience in service robotics, and its IFA profile highlights D7, a semi-humanoid wheeled platform. IFA lists a height of 165 cm, 65 cm arm reach, 30 degrees of freedom expandable to 50, a 10 kg payload per arm and a wheeled chassis capable of up to 2 m/s.

The most interesting point is architectural. Warehouses, hotels and hospitals are largely flat. Wheels are efficient, stable and mechanically simpler. If a robot needs human-like arms for manipulation, it does not automatically need human-like legs. D7 may become one of the clearest examples of the thesis that a semi-humanoid can reach commercial work before a general biped.

Unitree H25-145: G1 is the safe expectation; H2/Superman is not confirmed

Unitree is one of the most media-visible humanoid companies and will attract crowds. Its official IFA profile confirms H25-145, and IFA also lists the company for Robots on the Runway. But there is one important boundary: the IFA profile does not confirm H2. Until Unitree or IFA says otherwise, H2 belongs on our watchlist, not in the “definitely there” column.

MagicLab H25-149, EngineAI H25-349, AGIBOT H25-371, DEEP H25-407, AiMOGA H25-408

These five booths work well as a comparison block. MagicLab positions itself as a Physical AI platform and IFA materials reference products such as MagicBot D1 and MagicDog. EngineAI focuses on humanoids and full-stack embodied AI. AGIBOT is officially listed by IFA and appears in the runway programme, although its exact IFA line-up is not yet public. DEEP Robotics brings a strong quadruped background in inspection, patrol and rescue. AiMOGA, Chery’s embodied-AI robotics brand, occupies H25-408 and highlights its Mornine humanoid in the IFA profile.

The best way to compare them is not to ask which machine looks most human. Watch setup time before a demonstration, operator involvement, task scope, error response and repeatability. Physical AI is entering a stage where a beautifully edited clip is no longer enough evidence.

Robots on the Runway: entertainment, but still useful observation

IFA’s current programme lists 5 September at 12:45 on the Creator Stage. Participating companies include EngineAI, DEEP Robotics, AGIBOT, Unitree and AiMOGA, among others. The format is designed to be visual, featuring humanoids, quadrupeds and robotic companions moving, posing and dancing.

This is not an autonomy benchmark and should not be presented as one. Still, putting many platforms on the same live stage creates a rare chance to compare mechanics: gait smoothness, balance control, recovery speed, actuator noise and behaviour close to people. A stumble or human intervention can sometimes reveal more than a perfect 20-second manufacturer clip.

The five demonstrations we most want to see

  1. eufy MarsWalker on real stairs. Not only climbing: S2 docking, turning, descending, landings and recovery after a failed approach.
  2. PUDU D7 doing useful work. Moving containers, operating a cart, door or lift would tell us more than choreography.
  3. MOVA manipulation in a non-perfect scene. Different objects, shifted positions and multiple repetitions without a reset.
  4. Roborock RockNeo Q2 LiDAR and the new home systems. We want to see sensor fusion, obstacle handling and behaviour in scenarios that break a scripted demo.
  5. Hall 25 humanoids side by side. The winner is not the best backflip; it is the platform that performs a useful sequence safely, repeatedly and with minimal hidden human assistance.

What IFA 2026 may tell us about the 2027 robotics market

1. Manipulation is entering the home

After years of optimizing maps, suction and docks, the next frontier is manipulation. An arm can move a sock, shift a lightweight obstruction or reduce the number of times a robot asks for human help. But mechanical reach is not autonomy. Building an arm is easier than building the perception and decision system that knows when and how to use it.

2. Stairs are the new threshold

Robot vacuums spent several generations competing over centimetres of threshold clearance. MarsWalker moves the problem up a level: a single robot cannot serve the entire home if floors remain disconnected. The answer may not be legs on every vacuum. A dedicated carrier could be the cheaper and more practical route.

3. Outdoor robots are becoming multi-sensor systems

RTK transformed robotic mowing, but it does not solve everything. Trees, buildings and garden geometry create conditions where redundancy matters. LiDAR, cameras and local obstacle models increasingly provide a second and third source of truth. Halls 9 and 11.1 will show whether sensor fusion is moving from high-end systems toward the mainstream.

4. Wheels may commercialize human-like work before legs

PUDU D7 is a useful example of engineering pragmatism. In a flat environment, bipedal locomotion adds cost, energy use and fall risk. Companies may first commercialize the “human upper body” — arms, perception and interaction — on a stable mobile base. Legs become necessary later for environments that cannot be adapted.

5. Specification sheets are losing explanatory power

36,000 Pa, 30,000 Pa, dozens of degrees of freedom and sub-centimetre precision look excellent in a table. Robotics is a system behaviour problem: detect, plan, act, verify and recover. The most valuable IFA 2026 demonstrations will therefore be the long, uncut ones.

If we had to compress IFA into one robotics route, we would start at Anker/eufy H2.2-101, move to Dreame H7.1a-101, then spend the largest block of time in Hall 9: Roborock H9-111 → ECOVACS H9-113 → Navimow H9-121 → MAMMOTION H9-123 → MOVA H9-127. After a quick H11.1 stop for ANTHBOT and xLean, Hall 25 deserves a long session: Unitree, MagicLab, EngineAI, PUDU, AGIBOT, DEEP and AiMOGA.

Where are most of the robots at IFA 2026?

Hall 9 is the key cluster for home and garden robots. Hall 25 / IFA Next is the main destination for humanoids, quadrupeds and Physical AI. Important exceptions include eufy at H2.2-101, Dreame in Halls 7.1a/7.1b, and xLean/ANTHBOT in Hall 11.1.

Which humanoid companies are confirmed?

Confirmed exhibitors include Unitree, PUDU, MagicLab, EngineAI, AGIBOT, DEEP Robotics and AiMOGA. Not every company has published its full model list. In particular, as of 30 August, Unitree H2 is not confirmed by the IFA exhibitor profile.

When is Robots on the Runway?

The current IFA programme lists 5 September 2026 at 12:45 on the Creator Stage. IFA names EngineAI, DEEP Robotics, AGIBOT, Unitree and AiMOGA among the participants.
