Robotics funding 2026: 8 major rounds and investors
Robotics capital is flowing into physical production, control models and specific deployments at the same time. Saronic announced USD 1.75 billion, Skild AI USD 1.4 billion, and Bedrock Robotics added a USD 600 million announcement on 26 October. This tracker compares eight selected, documented 2026 transactions, with amounts, dates, named investors and announcement status.

Eight rounds: amount, date and evidence
The dollar section follows stated size while preserving “up to” and “over”. This does not rank equally certain cash receipts. DexForce remains in RMB and is not assigned a misleading position in a USD ranking.

Why there is no single headline total
Adding NEURA's upper limit to Saronic's closed round and calling the result “at least” would be incorrect. Likewise, more than USD 900 million is not exactly USD 900 million, and signed agreements do not necessarily mean every closing condition has been met. These qualifications belong beside the numbers, not in an obscure footnote.
Nor do we add USD and RMB without an explicit conversion date and basis. Preserving the announcement currency lets future updates distinguish funding changes from exchange-rate changes. This tracker therefore presents transactions individually. It is not a global robotics-funding estimate or investment recommendation.
Physical production: Saronic and Bedrock
Saronic connects its capital to autonomous maritime platforms and manufacturing scale. The round amount is separate from the USD 9.25 billion valuation in the same announcement. This is physical robotics, but its market is not directly comparable with domestic robots or warehouse humanoids.
Bedrock announced USD 600 million at a USD 4.1 billion valuation. The company describes autonomous excavators performing paid work on commercial sites from mid-August 2026. We attribute that deployment statement to the supplier: the financing announcement is not a RoboMorrow site inspection or independent productivity measurement.
What to follow next: active installations, repeatability, field-support resources and handling of unusual situations. A larger factory or fleet is a scaling milestone. It does not replace evidence that customers receive a useful, predictable outcome.
Control models: Skild AI and Eka
Skild AI funds a control model spanning different robot bodies. Eka focuses on manipulation and a model connecting vision, force and action. In both cases, much of the proposed value sits in software and data rather than a particular physical enclosure.
An industrial buyer should ask which new task can be introduced, how much preparation it takes and how much work still needs a person. A video showing one successful attempt starts the assessment. Process economics also require failed attempts, changeovers, input conditions and the cost of maintaining the system.
Humanoids and complete platforms: NEURA, XPENG and Apptronik
NEURA connects financing with Neuraverse, training infrastructure and production. XPENG identifies Physical AI models, data and humanoid manufacturing. Apptronik finances further Apollo development. These are different organisations and schedules; large figures in a table do not establish a shared readiness level.
For Apptronik, separating years is especially important: the new USD 520 million in 2026 extends the initial USD 415 million from 2025. A cumulative Series A exceeding USD 935 million is not another independent round to add. For XPENG, we preserve the signed-agreement status in the source rather than claiming a later closing that this check has not verified.

DexForce and the original currency
DexForce's official newsroom lists a RMB 1 billion Series B dated 30 June 2026. This edition retains that currency. The full release was unavailable during the check, so we do not fill in transaction terms or investors from memory. The narrower evidence supports a clearly labelled tracker entry, not a detailed transaction profile.
How to read future tracker updates
- New round: a new amount and date require a distinct announcement, not merely a new article about an old transaction.
- Extension: the additional funding and cumulative total stay separate to prevent double counting.
- Talks: a proposed fundraise stays outside the announced-transaction table.
- Closing: a status change requires confirmation; elapsed time does not establish it.
- Delivery: customer deployments, production and process results remain a separate assessment.
The selection covers robotic hardware or control of physical robots with an accessible source for amount and date. It is not an exhaustive screen of every autonomous-mobility, defence and AI business. We therefore do not assign a “world's largest” position from this sample. Further releases will update the same URL rather than create a competing tracker.
Capital and procurement answer different questions
A well-funded supplier may have more resources for development, but funding alone cannot answer whether a specific machine is available in your country, compatible with the task or supported locally. A procurement shortlist needs the exact product, deployment scope, acceptance conditions and responsibility for service. A funding table is a way to follow market direction, not a substitute for those checks.
RoboMorrow's reading: an amount describes announced financing scale, not the number of solved tasks. Follow documented European deployments alongside it. Linking capital to actual applications is how readers can assess what the money becomes.
Sources and verification date
Primary sources checked on 29 October 2026. For DexForce, the official newsroom listing confirmed the headline and date; the full release was unavailable, so no investors are attributed.
