What you are buying: the T2 5 SERIES

How much does an AgXeed cost?

We do not publish a single euro price because a base platform and an operational farm package may have different inclusions. Agrihandler lists the AgBot 5.115 T2 in Poland; AgXeed also provides a dealer locator for regional enquiries. A catalogue listing does not confirm current stock, a handover date or the final price.

Request a dated quotation with an itemised scope and validity period. A machine-only amount cannot be compared directly with a package that includes transport, training and an implement. For a demonstration or used machine, also request its operating history, undercarriage condition and remaining support coverage.

Compare the robot with your tractor and a contractor

Build three options around the same operation: purchase an AgBot, continue using your existing tractor, or hire a contractor. Use the same treated area, timing requirement and quality standard. Engine power alone does not establish whether another machine will solve your farm’s actual constraint.

An autonomous option may justify a demonstration when staffing repetitive field operations is the bottleneck. If the main difficulty is small, dispersed fields or frequent implement changes, measure setup and transport time first. A contractor may reduce the capital you need to commit, but availability during the required working window must be agreed. These are comparison criteria, not a claim that one option will outperform the others.

Calculate operating cost without promising a payback

Prepare an annual budget for ownership or finance, fuel, maintenance, parts, digital services, transport and staff time. Separate field hours from logistics hours. Divide comparable costs by the hectares of operations actually completed. Two passes across one field are two treatments, not a farm twice the size.

Test a conservative case with lower utilisation and longer interruptions, alongside a case based on your documented demonstration. Do not count every driverless hour as labour saved: planning, moving the machine, connecting implements, replenishment and responding to interruptions still require work. We do not calculate a payback period without your quotation and farm data.

What to measure in a demonstration

1. Choose representative land and an implement you genuinely intend to use.
2. Agree the mission, operating boundaries, supervision requirements and stop procedures using the documentation for that setup.
3. Record configuration time, active work, downtime, interventions, completed area and work quality.
4. Check how transport, routine attention and restarting an interrupted mission fit into your working day.
5. Obtain a written record of the tested configuration, conditions, limitations and issues still requiring work.
