FarmDroid FD20

FarmDroid FD20 combines precision seeding with mechanical weeding. It records seed positions for subsequent inter-row and intra-row work. Solar panels supply its battery system. The manufacturer claims up to six hectares per day under relevant conditions; this is not six hectares per hour or a guarantee for any farm area.

Assess the complete seeding-to-weeding workflow in a supported crop. Establish row spacing, seed material and compatibility with subsequent equipment. Using the system on a crop established through another workflow requires specific supplier confirmation.

Limits and deployment conditions

Results depend on soil, weather, configuration and repeat treatments. Do not apply an advertised payback figure to another farm without calculation. FD60 is a separate product with a different delivery status, and its specifications should not be assigned to FD20.

3. How many hectares and repeat visits fit the available window?

What the quotation should contain

Request equipment, options, commissioning, training and support as separate quotation items. Define farm and service responsibilities and the fallback during a stoppage. Compare the complete process with the present method. A missing profile price means no verified comparable quotation, not a free machine.
