Universal Robots UR15

Universal Robots UR15 is an industrial cobot suited to machine tending, fast handling, packaging and light/medium palletising. RoboMorrow treats it as one component of a complete automation application, not a standalone “autonomous robot”. The arm requires tooling, programming, a safe cell and process integration.

The strongest fit is machine tending, fast handling, packaging and light/medium palletising. The final decision should come from the complete cycle: tool and workpiece mass, centre of gravity, cell geometry, machine signals, required quality and error recovery.

Safety

Collaborative functions do not automatically make an application fence-free. Sharp parts, hot processes, heavy tooling or high speed may require scanners, curtains, reduced-speed zones or physical guarding. The finished cell needs a risk assessment.
