Dreame C1 vs C1 Station: what does the station add?

12.09.2026 · Redakcja RoboMorrow
Dreame C1 Station — manufacturer product imagery

Compare Dreame C1 and C1 Station as two window-cleaning configurations. The practical question is whether a portable station solves a power-access and handling problem in your home. This is not a C1 Station versus C1 Station S comparison: the S identifies another variant and should remain visible in a quotation.

What Dreame’s comparison actually shows

The Spanish comparison page lists a 30 × 40 cm minimum pane and the same stated 5500 Pa suction for C1 and C1 Station. It lists battery operation for the Station configuration and no runtime value for C1. Do not assign the Station battery’s duration to the standalone robot configuration.

Why package weights can mislead

A retailer table can place the robot’s weight next to a figure covering equipment with a station. That difference is not automatically the weight held against the glass. Establish what each figure includes. Daily handling has three separate parts: lifting the robot, moving the station and carrying the complete set between rooms.

Treat dimensions in the same way. Station housing size and the robot’s footprint on glass are different measurements. Measure the usable pane between actual obstacles rather than using the outside dimensions of the frame.

When Station could solve a real problem

A portable station is useful when there are several work locations and awkward socket access, provided the specific arrangement allows cables and restraints to be installed as instructed. Walk the route from storage to every window before buying. Identify an appropriate station position rather than deciding that a cable can probably be stretched far enough.

C1 without that station may be sufficient where power is easily available and cable organisation is not a burden. Confirm the supplied equipment and required power and tether arrangement for the exact version sold in your region.

Check the quotation

  1. Complete name: C1, C1 Station or C1 Station S.
  2. What the price includes: robot, station or power supply, cables, restraint and pads.
  3. Permitted surfaces and requirements for the window you want to clean.
  4. Availability of compatible replacement pads and solution.
  5. Carrying, storage and local service arrangements.

Keep the quotation or specification screenshot with its date. Regional listings and bundles can change. A product-family photograph is not enough to establish that a particular accessory is included.

Walk through the home with a window list

For each window, record the available socket, where the power equipment will stand, the cable route and the securing points required by the manual. Note any stairs on the transport route. This reveals whether your difficulty is power access or access to the glass itself. A station may address the first problem without making a fixed, inaccessible window easy to reach.

Consider storage after the whole session as well. C1 Station adds an item to carry and put away. In a small apartment with sockets near the windows, the simpler system may be easier precisely because there are fewer components. In a larger home, portable power may outweigh that disadvantage.

Calculate the premium after completing these fields. Do not compare a station-only or accessory price with a complete system. A shortened store title containing “C1” may not describe everything supplied, so obtain confirmation of the contents.

What should a demonstration resolve?

With similar headline cleaning figures, focus on starting, changing rooms and finishing. Ask to see pad preparation, connections, securing the equipment, carrying and storage. Check access to controls and messages at your typical working height.

If automatic pad washing is the main requirement, look for a model whose manufacturer explicitly describes that function. “Station” alone does not establish whether the station services the pad or mainly handles power and transport.

Decide whether the upgrade is worth paying for

Write down the tasks the station would change: locating a socket, reconnecting power, organising cable or moving equipment. Do not credit it with faster glass cleaning without a measurement. The robot still needs transferring between panes and the result still needs inspection.

Choose for your window layout. If the real problem is streaking, a very small pane or an incompatible coating, the station is not an established solution. Resolve suitability first, then compare the convenience of power arrangements and the current local price difference.

Next step

Compare station functions and the handling time for a complete session.
