Roborock RockMow Z150: price, AWD and 5,000 m² specs

Roborock RockMow Z1 official family render representing the Z150 AWD variant

Verified 26 August 2026. RockMow Z150 is the largest European variant of the conventional RockMow Z1. It is aimed at properties up to 5,000 m², combines AWD with a 10 Ah battery and uses full-band RTK + VSLAM positioning. Rather than asking whether it is the 'most powerful', the useful question is whether you need its three genuine advantages: large area capacity, slope traction and higher working speed.

European price context: euro figures on this page are deliberately rounded buying-context bands based on the verified Polish offer snapshot. They are not live country-specific retail prices and are not presented as an exact FX conversion. Always verify the current local offer before purchase.

5,000 m² is more than a bigger battery

Z150 uses 10 Ah, but the scaling also includes travel speed. Roborock documentation lists up to 0.8 m/s in Efficient mode, faster than Z115/Z130. That matters on a large property, where time spent on straight lines and turns accumulates over many hours. Roborock promotes high daily coverage under test conditions, but real output will depend on grass density, slopes, zones and charging stops.

AWD, 80% slopes and 8 cm obstacles: strong hardware, not alternative physics

RockMow Z1 combines all-wheel drive, Active Steering and dynamic suspension. Roborock claims slopes up to 80% (38.7°) and obstacles up to 8 cm. Its support documentation adds an important condition: with PreciEdge installed, the vertical-obstacle limit for Z150 is 5 cm; without the module it is 8 cm. That is why one maximum number should never be copied without context. Wet grass or a slope ending at a wall still needs a safety margin.

RTK + VSLAM: Z150 still uses an external RTK antenna

Z115/Z130/Z150 are not the same positioning architecture as Z120 LiDAR. Conventional Z1 requires an external RTK reference station, with Roborock recommending a clear location with good satellite reception. VSLAM and Quad Vision support orientation and obstacle perception, but the satellite base remains part of the installation. In a heavily screened garden, the LiDAR version can be the more interesting architecture even though it has a lower area rating.

24 cm, six blades and 20–70 mm

Z150 uses a 24 cm cutting width and six blades, with 20–70 mm height range. Dynamic suspension and the adaptive cutting platform are intended to keep the deck more stable over uneven ground. We still do not call it the best cutter purely because it has six blades: a fair conclusion would require the same grass, moisture, speed and cutting-height test.

PreciEdge matters more on a big property

The optional PreciEdge module can reduce structural distance from the boundary to roughly 3 cm. A 5,000 m² property may have hundreds of metres of edging, so the accessory can be more valuable here than on a small Q105. But its cost should be included and the changed obstacle-clearance condition noted.

Built-in 4G, anti-theft and distance from the house

Z1 includes built-in 4G, with location tracking and alarm functions. For a machine costing well into four figures in euros and operating far from the house, this is more than a convenience. Check network coverage across the property and configure the PIN and map boundaries from the first day.

Noise, weight and service

Z150 weighs 21.5 kg, almost twice a Q105. Technical data lists 63 dB(A) measured sound power LWA and 55 dB(A) sound pressure LpA. The mower and charging station are IPX6 and the RTK station IPX5. The mass suits the all-terrain concept but makes manual carrying and service more awkward, which makes local after-sales support particularly relevant.

Price and warranty

Z150 launched in Poland at about €3,750. Roborock's limited warranty lists three years for the main unit and two years for the battery; blades are consumables. At this price level the buyer should compare installation, service and parts access as carefully as feature lists.

Is RTK reception the problem rather than lawn size? See RockMow Z120 LiDAR, which replaces the external RTK antenna with 360° LiDAR + VSLAM.

RoboMorrow verdict

Z150 makes most sense as a machine for a genuinely large, difficult property. Its strongest arguments are AWD, 10 Ah, higher speed and the 5,000 m² class. On a flat 1,200–1,500 m² lawn, paying for Z150 will usually be unnecessary overcapacity.
