GARDENA smart SILENO sense 600

GARDENA smart SILENO sense 600 is one of the more interesting 2026 mowers for owners who want a wire-free setup without installing a local RTK reference station. It combines a Vision AI camera, GNSS satellite navigation and mobile connectivity. Its most distinctive policy is about imagery: GARDENA says camera recordings are processed directly on the mower, stored locally and not uploaded to the cloud.

600 m² without a boundary wire or local RTK station

The model is specified for lawns up to 600 m². A built-in SIM is marketed with free mobile connectivity for the lifetime of the device. The mower still needs cellular coverage across the garden or internet-connected Wi‑Fi, a usable GNSS signal and the GARDENA smart app. In other words, removing local hardware does not remove dependence on connectivity and satellite reception.

LONA™ Intelligence builds a virtual garden map and supports zone management. The camera is used for edge and object recognition, while the mower can use random or parallel mowing patterns. GARDENA-Assisted can adapt the schedule using weather and grass-growth information.

Local camera processing is a meaningful differentiator

Privacy matters more as outdoor robots add cameras. GARDENA explicitly says imagery is processed on the mower, stored locally and not sent to the cloud or shared with third parties. That does not mean the complete product is offline — the app, account, GNSS and connectivity remain part of the system — but the image-data policy is unusually clear.

Mowing specifications and limits

The official 600 m² specification lists a 16 cm cutting width, 25–45 mm cutting-height range, around 40 minutes of standard mowing per charge, IPX5 protection and 57 dB(A) perceived sound level. Maximum slope is 25% both inside the installation and at the boundary. This is far below specialist AWD machines, so sense 600 is aimed at a managed domestic lawn rather than extreme terrain.

Another important limitation is daylight. GARDENA states that smart SILENO sense requires daylight to operate. Buyers planning routine night mowing need to account for this. The restriction may also be positive for reducing night-time risk to small animals.

Polish price and availability

When checked on 23 August 2026, GARDENA Poland listed the mower at about €1,200, in stock, with 3–7 day delivery. Prices can change, which is why RoboMorrow records the verification date. GARDENA also advertises a three-year warranty after registration for the model.

Who is it for?

It is a strong fit for a 400–600 m² lawn with clear boundaries, modest slopes, reliable GNSS and internet connectivity. It is especially interesting if image privacy matters more than maximum terrain capability. That is why it appears in our best robot mowers of 2026 shortlist.
