Roborock RockNeo Q110: price, specs and 1,000 m²

RockNeo Q110 is the larger of the two Q1 models and has a very specific role: cover gardens up to 1,000 m² without forcing the buyer into the heavier, more expensive AWD platform. It stays close to Q105 mechanically but gets a 4.6 Ah battery and a higher recommended lawn area. That makes Q110 an interesting middle point when 500 m² is too restrictive but Z1 would be overkill.

What actually changes from Q105?

The main differences are straightforward: 500 m² versus 1,000 m² and 4 Ah versus 4.6 Ah. Weight rises only from 12.2 to 12.3 kg. Cutting width remains 22 cm, cutting height 20–60 mm and mowing speeds 0.4 m/s in Daily mode or 0.6 m/s in Efficient mode. The two products therefore share the same philosophy; the larger battery does not turn Q110 into an all-terrain machine.

Best use case: a medium garden with several zones

Q110 makes sense where a 500 m² model leaves too little margin but most of the route is still predictable: reasonably even lawn, no extreme slopes, and obstacles that look more like trees, furniture and beds than deep ruts. In that environment RTK/VSLAM and stereo vision may deliver more practical value than paying for AWD in the Z family.

Navigation and 0.7-metre passages

Roborock describes Q1 as capable of maintaining course under dense trees and navigating passages from 0.7 m wide. That is useful for side lawns or narrow connectors between zones. But 'can pass' is not the same as 'will work comfortably': protruding edging, pots or insufficient turning space can still require map edits and a different route.

AI mapping and multi-zone management

Q1 offers AI-assisted mapping, multiple mowing zones and progress monitoring in the app. These features matter even more on Q110 because a 1,000 m² property is more likely to contain areas with different schedules: a play zone, a terrace lawn, a side garden or sections growing at different rates. The first few runs are still worth watching so the difficult areas can be refined manually.

Edges and cutting height: two purchase details

First, Q1 uses manual 20–60 mm cutting-height adjustment. Second, PreciEdge is optional rather than standard. Roborock quotes roughly 3 cm structural distance from a boundary with the compatible module, but the actual uncut strip depends on the border and software logic. If your garden has hundreds of metres of walls or raised edging, the accessory cost should be part of the comparison.

Battery, pace and the 1,000 m²-per-day claim

Q110 uses 4.6 Ah and a higher charging current than Q105. Roborock advertises up to 1,000 m² per day for the Q1 family under test conditions. The fact that this number matches Q110's recommended area does not mean every 1,000 m² garden is completed daily. Tall or wet grass, many turns, obstacles and multiple zones increase working time. A buyer should keep a capacity margin when the lawn geometry is difficult.

Safety, rain and anti-theft

Q1 uses stereo vision for obstacle avoidance, has a wildlife-friendly schedule and includes a rain sensor. The mower and dock are IPX6. Anti-theft features include an alarm and PIN, while the 4G/anti-theft module for Q1 is sold separately. That is another cost to include if the charging station is visible from the street or the property is open.

Price, warranty and real bundle cost

Q110 launched in Poland at about €1,200. Roborock's limited warranty lists two years for the main unit and two years for the battery. A realistic ownership calculation may also include optional PreciEdge, optional 4G and replacement blades. Those details matter more than comparing one headline retail price.

Q110 is most logical when you need more area than Q105 but do not need a heavy AWD platform. It is not 'almost a Z1'; it is a longer-range Q1. If your 1,000 m² lawn is steep and rough, changing product family is more sensible than simply buying the bigger Q battery.
