20 kPa suction vs 5,000 Pa downward pressure
PUDU’s launch material refers to up to 20 kPa suction for liquid/debris recovery. Separately, the official product page states 5,000 Pa of downward roller pressure. These are not competing suction figures. Downward pressure describes how the scrubbing roller is pressed into the floor; suction relates to recovery of water and debris.
Four cleaning modes in one platform
ET1 combines sweeping, scrubbing, vacuuming and dust-mopping. Its front-sweep / rear-scrub layout is intended to collect dry debris before wet scrubbing. In small retail or hospitality spaces, reducing separate cleaning passes can matter more than a headline motor specification.
The 8-in-1 dock
According to PUDU, the station automates charging, roller cleaning, squeegee rinsing, roller spin-drying, clean-water refill, waste-water drainage, detergent dosing and water heating. Before ordering, confirm power, space, water and drain requirements for the selected configuration, distance from cleaning zones and whether the robot can reach it without locked doors, unsuitable thresholds or narrow bottlenecks. “8-in-1” describes functions; it does not replace a site plan.
Where the 100–800 m² positioning makes sense
PUDU positions ET1 for compact commercial spaces. 300–720 m²/h is not a guaranteed shift result
Throughput depends on mode, working width, obstacle density and turn frequency. We do not multiply the maximum square-metres-per-hour figure by battery runtime and call that autonomous daily capacity. A pilot should measure real completed area without intervention, dock-service time and recovery from common obstacles.
Optional 21.5-inch display
The optional display can make sense in retail or hospitality where the robot doubles as an information surface. It should not be mixed into the core cleaning ROI by default. Ask for a cleaning-only quotation and a separate display configuration.
